Old Business:

New Business:

Shooting at Mussel Rock week-end of January 7.

Ricardo shared his observations:

4 or 5 pellet bullets were shot by two locals looking after rabbits.

A couple of pilots on the ground (nobody was flying) called 911 believing the shoots were againts them.

Police arrested the two hunters.

The Media over-represented the incident as a shooting against paragliders.

The good news: It was not.

Chip Greel Accident.

Susan K, Klaus S and Jill N, shared their knowledge and observations about this accident.

Certainly the USHPA magazine will summarize what we can learn from it.

Meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM

Entertainment was Garrett Smith introducing Speed Flying and comparing this activity to traditional Paragliding.
