BAPA Weather Clinic - Next Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 7pm

Members,

The BAPA Weather Clinic will be held at Brightworks (Gever's new school) on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 7-10pm. It's located at 1960 Bryant St., San Francisco - between Mariposa and 18th (3 blocks west of Potrero Avenue). Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but the meters only run until 6pm and it's less residential east of the school, so you should be able to find street parking within a block or so.

There aren't really many places in the immediate vicinity to pick up dinner at night, although the Potrero Center (at 16th between Bryant and Potrero) has a Boston Market, Togos and Safeway. There is also a Starbucks on the corner of Bryant and Mariposa (a few doors down from the school) open until 8pm. The best option is probably a group pizza order - Escape from New York has delivered many times for us: http://www.escapefromnewyorkpizza.com/

It's fine to bring whatever drinks you want to have (beer, wine, sodas, whatever). We just need to be sure to clean up afterward and rinse everything before recycling (so the workshop doesn't smell like a frat party the morning after :-) We have plenty of glasses and plates and silverware - we'll just need to run the dishwasher before we leave.

Summary:
Location: 1960 Bryant Street, San Francisco - between Mariposa and 18th (street parking)
Drinks: BYOB (Safeway, Jamba Juice and Peets at 16th and Bryant/Potrero, Starbucks at the corner of Bryant and Mariposa)
Food: BYO (Safeway, Boston Market, Togos) or bring cash to pitch in for Escape from New York Pizza

The format of the clinic will be casual with plenty of time for discussion and questions. To help tailor things to our audience, it would be helpful if you could email me questions or weather topics that you would like to see discussed and I will pass them along to Jill Nephew who will be leading the discussion.

RSVP would also be appreciated so that we have a rough headcount, but it not necessary.

See you all next Wednesday, and as usual feel free to email me with any questions.
